Delaware Consumers Be Aware of Cramming Scam involving ESBI and Verizon

I happened to notice (and was lucky to have done so) that on my August 2006 phone bill from Verizon, I was billed for voice mail service that I never ordered and never received. I am being billed by ESBI (Enhanced Services Billing Inc.). Please check your phone bill for unauthorized charges. Refer to this link, which is another blog that documents the nationwide problems with this cramming. http://www.portlandtn.net/2005/11/scam.html
Tomorrow I will be calling both ESBI and Verizon to take care of my billing problem. Apparently, I will need to put a block on my Verizon account to prevent enhanced services billing. I will add my experiences with my billing problem to this post. Please provide any additional comments or information that you have about this consumer problem.
Here's another link that describes ESBI's cramming: http://sharingthesecretoflife.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_sharingthesecretoflife_archive.html
